I've got a little information overload on this. There is a LOT of stuff on risors, but of course, I didn't find what I need. :(

I've got an 05 Neo that I want to get the bars a couple of inches closer to me. Not higher, just closer. Also, I don't want to get into changing cables or hoses. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks and ride safe:choppersm

I recently bought a used chrome set from the Beefy off of his N.. same cable length, just reroute them behind the tree’s.. 2” more up and 3’ more back… here's the link below....

PhatRisers II™ by Scootworks- Now also available in Black and SHOW CHROME! - These handlebar risers were created especially for 'vertically challenged' riders and folks who just want _more_ pullback! Raises the bars 2" above that of the OEM Honda mount, and pulls your grips back 3" closer to you. Works with original cables/hoses (except as noted for the PhatRisers™ above), but requires you to reroute them behind the triple tree in some applications. PERFECT for riders with short arms or being 5'5" or shorter. Weighing in at over 1.6 lbs each, these hefty risers come with the same great features as our PhatRisers™ above, and are available now! Prices are: $119.95 (Micro-Polished), $119.95 ( black), $144.95 (Show Chrome), $154.95 (Flames)
-> PhatRisers II™ for VTX 1800 Retro, S, T, Neo, & 1800F (NOTE on 1800F - These move the bars up approx 1" and back approx 1-1/2" on the 1800F)-

The PhatRiser will do the 2" thing. ( same URL as above )
Haven't used them but can comment on the quality of their products. Got a set of PhatRiser III for the Wife's 750. They are really nice equipment.

They are also good guys to work with.

Not the most inexpensive thing on the Market but looks like they will last forever ....

I'm thinking about new risers for my 05 Neo also. I would like to go up & back about 1". Just be careful going back & not up that your risers or bars don't hit your tank or dash.

I thought about risers also on my 06 Neo. But, there is one other alternative. I went with a different handlebar. I paid about $80 for new black handlebars. Here is a link to the one I got.

What did the bars do for you? How far back did they come over stockers?

Thanks, Ride Safe:choppersm

I run with Aeromachs 6 inchers...no issue with bars or cables (they are tight though).

Bull
How tight? What did you have to do with your cables and hoses?

Thanks, Ride Safe:choppersm

Our stock Neo handlebars are 33-1/2" wide with 12" of pullback. The Drag Specialties handlebar are 36" wide with 14.25" of pullback. Net gain of 2.25" of pullback with 1-1/4" each side further out. With the grips being as large as they are, I didn't notice a difference in how it felt pushed out to the sides. But, with the pullback, it feels much better sitting upright and being able to use my back rest much more. So, I recommend either new risers or new handlebars.

There are no holes in the handlebar for where you mount the switches, so you will be aligning this by sight. And, in the bend where the grips go on the underside is a dimple, which made me align the grips versus just putting them on any old way. I didn't have any issues with any lines. There was enough play in them. I spoke with HDL about new lines, but they informed me that I didn't need them unless I wanted to buy some new ones, which I may do down the line for the stainless steel look. But, for now, I've saved some money for other mods.
