Does anyone know if the 'Scar mod' would work on a 2006 Honda Aero 750?

Before I purchased the X I currently ride, I rode an Aero that I still have in my possession. I started to 'bob' the Aero as an around the city ride. Have completed a number of changes and am now interested in changing out the stock air intake, I didn't necessarily want to re-jet the carb and was thinking that the Scar mod should do what I need since it worked so well on the X.

Yes - but you will have to experiment with number of washers.

long before it was called the scar mod, we use to do them on all the carb'd bikes...on the ace i bought for the wife to learn to ride on (which she never did so i sold it), i went 1 shim and 2 to 2 1/8 turns out on the screw due to it having the 34mm carb on it...i just redid the carb on the little vulcan 800 classic i bought with the scar method and i ended up with those same specs i just listed and it has a 36mm carb on it (i was wrong the other day when i listed it with the 34mm carb, my bad...talking about the kawi that is...LOL). good luck with it, you can do it

and remember, that depends on which brand intake you go with...now when i change the intake out on the kawi, i'll rejet it and change it all the way around

Thanks for the info guys, from looking at the carb over the weekend I though it should work but wanted to ask on the forum before I messed something up.
