If anyone is interested, Heartland Animal Shelter (a no kill shelter) is having their 4th annual Hogs for Dogs ride.

We did the ride last the last 3 years and they have been GREAT. Last year, it was a long 80 mile ride through some back roads near the Chain (we did take a break 1/2 way through) and into Wisconsin. There is a trivia contest where the answers are found throughout the ride. Last year's raffle included a Weber propane grill, airline tickets, Bears tickets...it went on and on. Good food. Not sure if there is a live band this year. Check it out and sign up. It's a lot of fun.

Hmmmmm....We love riding, and we love animals (two dogs, two cats)...Might just have to make this and hang out with our Illinois brothers..(Maybe Vince will have his bike back home by then)....
