Side cover hinge repair

They are plastic, exactly what type IDK. If Gorilla Glue doesn't hold it you are probably on a scavenger hunt for another one. The rubber grommets get hard, making pushing the flared stem into it very hard, and this is where many break off. I just replaced a 2014 Nissan Rogue right rear light bucket with one from a salvage yard, and one of the 3 flare-head pins it was made with was broken off. Luckily it will stay in place with the other 2 and the single body bolt. Plastic gets brittle the more it ages.
