I have National Cycle hard bags on my 1300 C and would like to install a sissy bar. Does anyone know what brand that I could use without having to modify things? Otherwise I will be selling the hard bags and going back to saddle bags.

NC Paladin quick release backrest/sissybar is a nice option, should work with those bags. If it doesn't say on their listing, you could call their customer service and check. Not sure with those hardbags which others will work, I'm sure some others will chime in.

I had thought of the NC Paladin quick release backrest/sissybar but was not real happy with the backrest. Is it pretty standard for a backrest to only be rated for 5 lbs? That seems very very light. At times I would like to put a bag on it and not have to worry it will go flying down the street.

Has anyone used this type of sissy bar before with good results?
