Use it in my bike right now; huge improvement over dino oil, that's for sure. Getting ready to put it in my truck and my van next week. Very happy with it thus far. Their filters--well, I still use Purolator, Bosch, etc. that I can find at Auto Zone and they work just fine IMHO. The ea filters that AMSOIL sells, along with the WIX filters, are probably good but a little too pricey for my taste.

Amsoil bike oil and a Bosch or standard Purolator (not the pureone) filter.
Everyone is raving about Amsoils filter on the Bob is the oil Guy site. If I were running 20K intervals in a car I might try one - but my feeling a decent filter is good for the 8 - 10K Amsoil will last in a bike.

I've also run the M1 and Rotella T synth. All good oils. Just mention it (Amsoil) on the VTXOA, and you'll get plenty of offers. Pick the best one. I get it shipped to my door for less than I can purchase M1 locally.

I switched to the Rotella T synth. I was using the Mobil 1, but at $8.19/qt just a little higher than I want to pay for motor oil. And I don't want to mail order as it seems there always comes a time when I need it and I don't have any. The rotella is readily available and costs about $16.00/gl. Everything I've read and heard about it says its good oil to use in our motorcycles. I use a bosch or purolator filter as they are also easy to find and reasonbly priced.

Kingpin, I may have to try Rotella. I have contacted a few people who sell Amsoil, and their price with shipping is the same as MX4T and sometimes slightly higher. Dealers get a better deal, but I don't want to be a dealer.

After I broke in the motor I switched to Amsoil and won't use anything else now. I'm pay approx $8.00 a quart. I also use Amsoil in my atv's. I only change my oil twice a year..the begining of the riding season (April) and the end of the season (aprrox November..Ohio weather) and everything runs great. Getting ready to switch my truck over to Amsoil once I use up all my V-oline.

That's great news....be sure to use a very good filter as well.
