Ive seen plugs last 25k+ miles.

However, at $8 for all 4 of them (Champions) if they Look bad or I Feel like it, I will replace them. The cost just isn't high enough for me to penny-pinch on.

Some people clean them too.. This is another thing I tend not to do unless diagnosing.. then if I clean them and it fixes the problem, I replace all 4.

There is nothing wrong with cleaning them.. I probably would if the plugs cost $10 each, ya know? But at $2... nah

The way they are making them now days 100k plus.
In the old days I've seen them when the tip was actually burnt off an I havet not seen that in 40 years.
I don't plan on changing mine even past 100k. I just clean them with WD 40 and a small brass wire brush (found in stores in the welding area). Mine are on 27k and they look fine.

An easy way to keep them clean is to swap the plugs front to rear every 5-6K and run the piss out of it once a week. The majority of plugs are replaced due to fouling, not wear.
