I started my bike Sunday it was running fine pulled out of driveway headed down the road and bike was running like crap started hearing a low hum grinding noise coming from fuel tank speedometer area that’s when I noticed it was not working I stopped put the bike in neutral and the green light wasn’t coming on either my turn lights and high beam worked I checked connection and it was good both wires we’re connected. Do you guys have any clue what’s going on every weekend I’m fixing problems with this bike I love my bike but hate all the problems I have with it

Was your bike backfiring or anything? O have seen a few videos about the speed censor going out, which has caused the bikes to run sluggish and the spedo to stop working. I haven't had this problem yet, but I'm also new to the VTX world. Only been riding mine for a few days.

I have also read from others who shared the same problem, no Speedo, neutral light or odometer and in their case it was a bad fuse. I would start there as it's the easiest check.

dont we all wish it was just a bad fuse . ive never ever had that luck lol but maybe he will !

You said you checked the connection. What connection did you check? Those lights are controlled by the green connectors (2 of them ) on the right side of the tank if I'm not mistaken. Easy check just like the fuse. You have to reach in there behind the side of the tank to get to them. Should be in a big black boot. Just pull that back and you'll see them.
As far as the grinding, is this bike new/newish to you. Everybody has that noise you're describing if we are talking the same noise. It's the speedo housing rattling. The running bad part was probably a bad dream you were having. Did you used to have a harley? Even when I have had issues with my bike, it's never let me down/stranded.

I will check the fuses again my eyesight is getting or has gotten really bad since the cancer I will check again thanks Did I say something that was wrong here What other connections would there be A far as the rattle in the tank I have tore this bike Down so many times it is t funny this is bar non the worst bike Honda has ever made. I’m sorry y’all know we all know it I love Honda been riding oneforAlmost 50 yrs Idk about y’all but if you buy a Honda you know you got a dependable good bike that will always make it home.... now as far as the Harley thing goes last time I remembered I was writing what I thought were my friends here I have a lot of respect for these gentleman on this forum. I m gonna act like that was a joke and laugh it lit off I’ve got a sick bike to tend to and I want sleep till she is fixed and thank you guys all of you !!!! And mr Harley man if you don’t have anything nice to say go outside and lpet a mad dog or play dodge car or something y’all have a good night gentlemen and ladies!!!
