:coffee:ive looked and cant find what bearings to install in my 2002 1800r vtx for the streeing stem upper and lower id like to put timkin in if anyone knows the numbers ,thanks

no whobble when i replaced my frnt tire i was pulling on the shocks and noticed a 1/8 play from frnt to back and not sure it was normal so was going to replace stem bearings

All Balls made a big difference, but I have the 1300 and also needed to replace the front Wheel bearings.

You shouldn't need to replace them. Apparently the stem nut is loose so clean and lube the bearings (they will be dry) and torque the nut to spec. Replacing them is a PITA.

+1 what BigJon said. I believe that all you need is to adjust the stem bearing. See Service Manual in the sticky notes on 1800 main forum.
