you shouldn't need to replace them. Apparently the stem nut is loose so clean and lube the bearings (they will be dry) and torque the nut to spec. Replacing them is a pita.
+2....+1 what bigjon said. I believe that all you need is to adjust the stem bearing. See service manual in the sticky notes on 1800 main forum.
