Does anyone know if the threaded rod on the bottom of the stock risers is a removable stud, or is it permanently mounted inside the riser?

Been having the invention bug biting me again. Just want to know before I go tearing into everything.

I would say it's a removable stud. I'm not 100% sure, but why would Honda try and install it permanently? That would take alot of doing. They probably put loc-tite on it so it won't come out easy though. I'll look at my stock r risers when I get home and see if it appears to be removeable. I'd be willing to bet they are.

I looked at mine and it is hard to tell. Honda may cast them in and if so you can remove them.

My tool and die friend and I are talking about adding 1 1/2" - 2" to the bottom of the riser if that is removable. Something that would match the style of the stock riser. That's why I am asking.
