i know ive seen a thread on here somewhere but cant seem to find it. i bought a used '07 1300c with V&H Big Shots (also supposedly jetted by the dealer) and no other mentioned mods. i am not positive that it was jettedand i was looking into SCAR modding the carb, but i dont know how to tell if it has been jetted or not. i need some guidence, thanks

Ok if you pull the cover off the vacume chamber and look at the needle if there are no groves then it is stock but uf the needle has 6 groves then it is the DJ junk and if it has 5 groves the it is Factory Pro jet kit.
Most likely if a dealer jetted it, it is most likely Dj because that is what they have in their books. If you were to pull the jets out they should have markings on the side of them. With just a exhaust the scar would be fine unless you want more power with re-jetting.

I was also thinking of doing both the decap and PAIR mods too...though the PAIR mod isn't at the top of the list

Doing the par removal isn't a big deal but you do need the block off plates/covers but why not do it all at the same time so you don't have to remove the tank more tan once and also it would be a good idea to install Glen,s permanent a/f at the same time.
