I've been in touch with Sean(SPyKER) regarding buying one of his modified air box covers. My options are choose a different style mod from him, or something else. Should I opt for #2, my question is: Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a similar "big X" cutout in the airbox cover? I think I saw a pic of someone who has one, but didn't know if it was on this site or elsewhere. I would really like the "big X" cutout with filter and led's. Can someone steer me to a source? Thanks.

The best substitue I can find is Patience just got to give him a little time to get these cut. I am waiting too on a custom grill. I hope you get what you are looking for. Good Luck

As said just be patient. Order the stuff from Spyker and get one of the other designs and use it for a while... I have 4 different ones, I think, may be 5, can't remember.

Always nice to have a change of pace....

He said the source for the "X" is no longer available. Why not sell me your X, since you have eX-tras. LOL I will probably choose another design, but he needs to get back to me and tell me whats available. BTW- real nice ride!

Being the "X" has been discontinued your kinda out of luck unless someone out there has a stamping press and wants to jump in to fill the void.

I may have an extra "X". I really don't remember. I have them all put up together, SOMEWHERE in the barn. I will check and see if that is one of the xtra's I have...

I'm still working on a "VTX grill. This last run, well, it turned out not as nice as planned. Before electropolishing, the cutter deburred with a DA sander with 200 grit, leaving scratches on the faces that still show after the polish. We're working through that, and should be able to do another rrun if there is interest.

Bad news is that the SPyKER Mod-made grills, and custom orders have to go up in price, but the final product should be better than ever!

Completely understood Mr. Sean ... What ever the cost is will be fair and it will be a great product as always.

The object is to have a quality product. I want to have a two sided grill instead of just one side like the mirror stainless. And 16GA so that they can be stronger. The process is more so the cost of making them is more, actually more than double.

Thanks for the updates Sean. Cold weather is nearing, so we'll have several or more months here in Pa. to play with bike upgrades over winter. Keep us all posted, good luck on the new mods.
