Hi folks,
I just wanted to way "thanks" for all the information on this site. I just finished the 600 mile checks and did the valve adjustment myself. That alone probably saved a couple hundred.
The valves were more difficult than I thought they would be.
It is tight in there. I had to adjust all but one. The rear ones were a lot easier for me to get to. Anyway, now the bike sounds like a well-oiled sewing machine. I guess that is good.
The pictures and information at http://tech.vtxoa.com/index.php?acti...=72&artlang=en were very helpful. I also have the service manual on CD (a must).
Anyway, thanks again to all of you for your information. This site is great!
