scored big today, when i go to Charleston I like to stop by a local steel supplier ( this one is huge with separate areas for the metal, plate, box tubing, channel, expanded) they supply and manufacturer structural steel for buildings and bridges ect, the 'scrap' bins are to drool over, anyway i was there to try to find some metal for the popup toy hauler project, i was guided to different areas to look for what i wanted, 4in channel, 4 in plate 1/8th thick, and what ever. came away with a 6 in wide plate 1/8 x 8ft, 3inflat bar 5/16th x 8 ft and two 10 ft 2in box tubing heavy wall, all in pristine shape, told be to come back as he was going to be cutting some 1/8 on plate, said ho would put it into 4 in wide pieces ask how much i would need (about 40 ft) he said ill cut you some from the scrap left over and put them aside for you, said i could pick them up Monday, and all this for free, and of course i will again check the scrap bins for more treasures.

I have not been on the forum much this last few months, but I'm back or trying to be, been dealing with financial issues, and personal ones also. but need to start socializing more, its something that i have to force myself to do. so your prayers and positive thoughts would be appreciated, they can be silent ones. I have been trying to convert a old storage lean too into a bike shed, but going slow again no $ to do much. not trying to be negative.

Garry, it's pretty well. Maybe 95% of what a normal healthy knee would be. It lets me know it's "there" from time to time. It doesn't help it that I have not continued doing my flex/ strength exercises to keep it as good as it can be. Age & slacking are the main reasons for that, and I know it. Thanks for asking. Merry Christmas to you and your dear sweet lady.
Thanks Fran, will do , seeing her tomorrow for a belated first date at Panera Bread in Parkersburg. (we were going to meet there before i got sick and couldn't make it. ) headed out west for Christmas with my son. glad to hear you are doing better, 25 years later and my hip still lets me know its there.
