So after work today I had to make a run into town, and rode the bike...jen is in front of me in her GMC, heading to work...Just cruising along, no big hurry...I notice a bike coming in the left lane (four-lane divided highway)...As it goes past I notice it's a classic Honda parallel twin, in great shape....I wave to the guy and young gal (guessing his daughter), and she waves back to me...Well we come to a traffic light and he slows dopwn before me, and I still didn't get a good look at the bike...I slow down and stop behind Jenny, and turn to see this moron has cut through the grass median to get to the gas station across the street!!!!! :icon_eek: ...Couldn't believe that he put himself and passenger at risk like that!!....People throw all kinds of crap along the road, not to mention possible roadkills, or whatever....All to save a few seconds that he would've had to wait for the left turn light to change...He keeps riding like that, and that classic Honda is going to be a wrecked pile of junk!!...

I've learned that some people fight for their right to be an idiot.

Sad.

Bill, i get the reassurance everyday that the lions share of people do good to just get up and make it through the day without putting themselves or even worse someone else into unneeded danger.

With his kid!! really his kid!!! :icon_burn
I assume his daughter....Now when I say that, it's not like she was 10 either...Here in Indiana you have to be 18+ to ride without a helmet, so was at least that old...But the pilot was much older than her, looked to me old enough to be her dad...Just obviously not too bright!!...:banghead:

Maybe he was already on reserve and hates to have people see him push it the last 100'. :hmm2:
Had he ran out, I woulda helped him push it...Hell it was just a little late 1970's twin...Probably didn't weigh over 400 lbs....Just impatient...Had I done that with jenny on the back, I'd be getting a royal ass-chewing in front of alot of folks at the gas station...:icon_eek:

+1 on the ass chewing! I could never get away with pulling a stunt like that. I get a smack in the back of the helmet when I blip the throttle...lol.
