Hey everyone,
I just bought some jafrum saddlebags http://www.jafrum.com/Motorcycle-Luggage/Motorcycle-Saddlebags/SD2032 and they have a tassle (tie down?) on the outside of the bags where is rests against your fender, and I dont know where to tie them off at. They are throw over so they are at least secured under my passenger seat, but how can i keep them close to the bike? Tieing them to the shocks just seems weird to me, and there is nothing else around to tie down to. Any suggestions?

the shocks are where you tie them. shocks dont move laterally or horizontally at all. i would suggest getting some felt or something to prolong the damage that the crossover will do to your paint under the seat. throwover bags will eventually rub the paint off. just a week or so and the finish will be dulled. i use throwovers, but use edge brackets with them...still removable and no damage to the paint.

I used the brackets from cavalrycustom.com . They are very reasonable at around $33.00 and you order them model specific. Mine used to be throwovers but I ended up cutting mine apart and mounting them hard style. If you'd like to know how I did it just send me a PM. I have some pretty bad scuffs on the paint back there from when I had them as throwovers. Maybe I could save you that trouble.
