i own a 2003 1800 vtx c and my question is" can i get a lower profile tire for this bike i have a 16 in rim on the rear and if so what brand and what are the sizes?" thanks for any info!!!

Keep in mind that your speedo is already off by about 10%. If you put on a smaller tire it will make that error even worse.

speedos can be calibrated though still looking for the low profile tires for it but thank you for the input

You must have flawless roads of zero chuck holes - ETC.

Lower profile will make the ride harsher than it already is - there's only 3" of workable suspension travel - and with stock shocks -
Not the best choice if simply going for a look.

That's the first I've heard of recalibrating the VTX speedo. How is it done?

I have seen electronic "kits" being sold to recalibrate electronic speedos and was thinking of pursuing it, but after I checked my speedo and it was dead on, I haven't followed up.
