I've always thought those swing wings would be great for you tall guys. When I open them up they really require a stretch for me but would be quite useful to someone 6' and up.

YOu can put C pegs on the R. It is a direct swap if you get the barckets and levers. I did it on my S because it felt like I was sitting on a bar stool. You can recut your seat so you sit back 1" to 1.5" and that will give you more leg room also. I also lowered my seat 1.5" and moved back so now it is like I am sitting IN the bike instead of one it. I later took off the C pegs and added Accutronix Forwards and that is great. I bought mine from Troonsouth off ebay for $516 shipped. He doesn't have any listed right now so send him a message and ask for a price quote.

'T's funny! My last two bike were an '82 CB900 Custom (a standard), and a 1983 1100 Goldwing Interstate -- so I haven't ridden without my feet underneath/slightly behind me for some time. My new VTX 1300T's forward floorboards put me at an awkward position, too -- but for a completely different reason than you note.
If I went any farther forward, I'm not sure I could handle it!

I might be interested in a trade of my stock c pegs and brackets for your floorboards and brackets, would probably have to swap shifters and shifter linkage as well.

You have to swap COMPLETE CONTROLS including brackets. Also, the C rear master cylinder has to standoffs to space it out so it aligns with the brake lever and those need to be swapped also. All the rest of the rear master cylinder mounts are the same. The SHIFT ROD also needs to be swapped because one is longer then the other.

I have a write-up on this swap here on the Cafe if you search.
