Im looking to get an audio fairing for my 2003 honda vtx-c.

http://tsukayu.com/QuickDetachableFairing.html

The 6x9 with stereo was what I was looking at but my speedometer interferers with the fairing, I could not find much info on how to relocate it.
I even ventured to two local shops and they couldn't help me much.

I was looking into the Hoppe fairing also but the picture showed for the in-tank model vtx which would be the same problem I would think. and the cost is quite more steep

Any help, suggestions, or even reviews would be much appreciated.

Im trying to come to a conclusion very soon because of shipping times and close approaching 4500+ mile trips

Welcome to the site...

Lot of fairings on C's I'm sure they will chime in soon.

SurfriderNC (VTXOA) had the same deal with his bike and used a different aftermarket mount for the cup on the bars. Brought it down instead of facing against the fairing. He ran the XR fairing with no issues. I looked a bit but could not find the part or company....will keep it in the radar but it has been done.

Edit: Found the part....Baron's makes it to work with their fatter bars....I know he had them on his.

I want to make sure I understand what you are saying.
The fairing is hitting the speedo on your C model, is that right.
I am using a hoppe on my C and it fits great; even with 6 inch risers will work.
Thin about a woddy. They are well made and a lot less $$$. Fits good.
What you can do is use 4 inch risers with a good pull back on them. This will push the speedo away from the fairing.
you don't need much clearance because the fairing moves with the forks. So once you have clearance you will keep it.
I will say this, If the fairing is not mounted correctly-sometimes it is difficult to get it just right-it will hit either the triple tree at the forks or the speedo.
here is my hoppe
This the best shot I have

Are you using stock risers?
If not are they straight, you know no pull back to them?
