Well Tsukayu is being wierd about selling me their mounts a la cart. Anyone have the "Z" Brackets that could give me a few measurements? And possibly the thickness of the metal used, I'll just have my welder make me some.

Looking for measurement A, B, C of both the long and short bracket + Thickness

Thanks!

A= 5 3/4
B= 1 11/16
C= 3 7/16

Hope this helps.
I myself was about to call Tsukayu and try to buy a pair of this brackets since my bags came with a pair of long bracket and a pair of short brackets.
According to instructions, I was supposed to use the short brackets to the back of the bike but it makes my bags sit higher than I would like to.
I changed and used my short ones to the front of the bike and that lets me set them as low as I want them but the long bracket would be a better way of attaching the front of the bags.

Good luck on your search.

Cool. Only thing that worries me is it appears Tsukayu mounts are a solid machined price while the ones i would make would be flat stock welded to a round piece

You want a set of them? I had to order another set when i lost one. I've got two short and one long left.
Hmmm one long would be quite useful in fabricating 3 more.....

I want my bags as low as possible and from my understanding 4 long brackets would be ideal.

Unfortunately its not a full set though.

Would you like the long one? If you can make more from it i'll take 2 more of them. Want to lower mine too.

I have a few friends who can possibly put them together. The question is whether it will be cheaper, I'll ask around and see if it's possible

So far looking like I'm going to be getting some flat stock and making two 90 degree bends, alot like these mounts:

The only difference I am going to make is placing the 90 degree bends lower on the mount to make the bags as low as possible. The mounts pictured above I'm pretty sure would cause the indent in the bags to sit on the 90 degree bends limiting how low you can mount them.

These mounts won't be as beefy or as good looking as tsukayu's but will probably cost about $20 total. I plan on tying the bags into the rear fender at the turnsignal hole location like Bass did for more support.

Life has been busy, But I managed to pick up a 220v Mig welder and as my first project I decided to weld up these mounts finally and install my hard bags.

Progress so far:

Not the prettiest welds but they are my first, Hell I even skipped practicing......

Will try to put together the last three brackets this afternoon
