Hey all,
I've recently had my gas tank and both fenders from my 2004 VTX 1300S painted into a new custom color. Upon putting the pieces back on, the only turn signal light that stays running is the front left one. The other 3 turn signal lights being the FR, RL, and RR all are not running. All of the lights work however when utilizing the turn signal switch. I tried switching out the bulbs to a 12.8V bulb that I've found at AutoZone because the guy say they would work. The front two now work, except they get dimmer when the turn signal switch is turned on, and both rear lights still do not work. Thoughts?? :banghead::swear:

Are the green connectors at the front right under the gas tank solidly connected?

When you put the rear fender back on, are you absotively, posolutely sure you got the wires hooked up correctly? Is there a pinched wire somewhere?

No, however I've switched em around and around and it made zero change in anything on the bike. The wires are color marked except for three, and those three are all green. I've tried switching those around countless times but to no avail.

You might want to double check this as the connector pins have been known to back out of their locking housings in the connector when being plugged back together. Unplug and check to insure that all pins are sticking out of the housing the same amount.

Thanks everyone,
Upon checking out the wires that connect to the speedometer, there are two prongs that are missing from the speedometer green plug, and one prong missing from the other end of the plug and play. What do I do? Green Watch Electronics Technology Finger

You say the prongs are missing but are there wires for those spots on the back side of the connector? If so, I'd replace the connector but maybe with a different type.

PS- good call sparky!
