That is the right side. I agree with Vinish, where does it go?
Could be anything looking at that photo.

You do need to fix that eventually.
It needs to terminate in a filter because it goes both ways it can push oil out but also suck air in. Unfiltered air to crankcase can introduce contamination.
When you fix it add small filter to end which likely had because not factory end or put back in factory location to airbox.
Change oil when done with that just in case it sucked up water or something.
