Cleaned up starter switch, no go. Took seat off and took battery out. Deader then all get out. Tried to cross the 2 post for a second, not even a spark. Have it on a 2amp charger right now until I get off. Battery is one year old and a YUSA. I know batteries can go bad, but I am leaning toward the charging aspect. Any thoughts? I just need it to last 36 miles until I get home. Thanks again.

I realize I'm 4 hrs. late replying to the last post, but 2 amps/ hr. wasn't going to cut it. Should have been on at least 10A. Hope you got her going and make it home. While most of us swear BY, not -AT-, YUASA batteries, they can have issues same as any other.

Well went out to put in recharged battery, it tried to start without even a key in ignition. Starter relay stuck open. Tapped on it 3 times. Hooked up battery, started right up and just drove home 38 miles!! Thank God

That is what an under-charged battery will do, weld the contacts. Glad you made it.
