A thread was posted close to a year ago now by me about getting some custom VTX parking signs made. Turns out the company that was going to do them for a tolerable cost backed out. Could not find a replacement vendor that would do them for less than right at $30.00 - $40.00. (too much)

Thread was located here:

Hince THIS new thread.

This little project was never forgotten but took me this long to find a vendor that would do this for any kind of reasonable cost.

Have found a vendor that will do the signs and I think I can get them to you for around $15.00. Will have to finalize that number, will depend on order size.

They will be made of Coroplast (indoor/outdoor material) at a 24 x 18 or 24 x 12 size.

Just wondered if there was still any interest?

I apologize for this taking so long but it has been an on and off the burner thing for the last 10-11 months.

Hate to do this, but I found VTX parking signs online. Here is some of what I found from a 2 minute googles search

Those look good to me. Doesn't bother me to be out of the loop on this. Was just doing it back then because couldn't find anything. Surely wasn't trying to make a buck, too much involved for that to be an endeavor.

Would rather have the cruiser being towed as to have a dirt bike back there but that is just me.

These are 0.04" metal. I'm guessing the vinyl cover with graphics and text would hold up. Let's see that would make those a whoppin' 1/25" thick.... The Coroplast ones are 1/8" thick - with direct application of graphics and text.

Second bunch is PVC and approx. 10.5 x 7.5. Can't find thickness on material....

Good find and alternatives...

which sign is going to be done
Not quite sure yet. This company seems to be attuned to doing short run numbers better than any other.

Will have to see how many want to order and will they have an 1800 or 1300 or just Honda preference and see what they will do on pricing for those total numbers.

Will give the thread a few more days for responses and then we will see.

Those are the signs I referenced in my original post about a year ago. I had bought the 1st one and was surprised because it was just thin plastic. The worthpoint one was no longer available.

I would take one with 1300 on it, but would settle got just VTX if needed. I also prefer having a pix of a cruiser instead of a misleading dirt bike pix on the Worthpoint one. The eBay one I bought is more for inside use.

We will see soon on the quality of these signs I am looking at.

My daughter has done some work for the Marriott Hotel chain and they have some signs on order made by the vendor I have mentioned.

Let's see how these look and what the quality feels like.

Will post back here as soon as they come in....
