They are the best sounding pipes for the 1800 so I'm sure they will blow your mind on the 1300. Just my opinion. PS. Leave the baffles in its just fine with them but its just dumb load with out. Ride safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations. But don't let the dealer try to talk you into installing the jet kit the handle if you are planning on re-jetting. If you do plan on re-jetting do it your self and only with the Factory pro Jet kit stage three.
The DJ they sell are junk.

They say i have to rejet when changing pipes. Why do they insist on doing this?
Because they're idiots...:banghead:

Dealerships make alot of $$ off Dynojunk jet kits...They're not right for the VTX, and I can think of maybe 3 guys on this entire website that have that jet kit and their bikes run right...Most of the guys that get that jet kit have to go back to the dealership over and over and over to get the to try again to fix it..And the dealership charges for all these times working on the bike that they fkd up to begin with...With just a pipe change, no jet kit is needed on any liquid cooled bike...Swapping pipes isn't gonna pull anymore air through the restrictive stock airbox...

Now you can believe the dealership, who's main objective is to make as much $$$ as possible, or trust us, and we have nothing to gain by lying to you...

The stock air box isnt even on the bike there is a chrome 90 coming of the intake and a cone shapped k&N filter on the end of it
OK, then it's already had carb work done to it to get that setup working right...Leave it alone and have the pipes done and go ride....From all the posts I've read here about those intake setups, they're REALLY tough to tune...Like they say, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"...If after the pipes there's a drivebility issue, we can help you get it dialed in...Enough guys on here running so many different pipe/airbox combinations that I'm sure somebody else has been down that road you're taking before...;)

Sounds good!! I will just put the pipes on and leave the carbs alone. The bike runs great and i dont want to mess that up, just looking for a better sounding bike! Thank You!!!
No prob...The Bigshots are great sounding pipes, love mine...They get better sounding after the baffles burn-in a bit....Only pipes I've heard that sound better in my opinion are Samson Warlord series....

What ever you do come here first and don't listen to any stealer there are some special Pro's here that know the VTX better than any dealer will ever.
We here all work together and know these bikes better than any stealer.
They are prone to trying to sell you things that their books/vender have. If you have trouble dialing yours in then it might be a good idea to check what Jet kit is in it - hopefully not a DJ kit.

Do it yourself. We here on the board can walk you threw it - it's not that hard. And with the kit you will have everything for future changes.
I'm sure there is someone near you that can help you also.

+1 I learned while doing it myself and had a lot of fun. Its well worth the effort.
