Has anyone thought of having a VTX riders club in Illinois???? It looks like there are quite afew riders here. I would like to get involved in riding the country side and enjoying group rides. Any thoughts?????

2speed, I'm only about 15min away, we could hook up for a ride sometime if you want. I like to go west and cross the Mississippi and cruise on rt79 between Hannibal & Louisiana Mo. Also like to go down to Alton & cruise river road.

John, I had the chance to meet up with some riders from a different forum over near Champaign at a Meet & Greet. They are trying to organize another one soon in June, if you're interested in cruising over for one I'll keep an eye out for when it will be. The last I heard it was going to be at BWW in Mattoon. These are all pretty good guys,I got to get to know a few of em last time.

what about us northerners, i wanna ride with some new people, riding alone's cool, but it can get boring too. I ride up and down ogden and us 30 from lisle to oswego back and forth to work every day it's warm enough and not raining, then on the weekends head west to 47 and the backroads of plano, sandwich, somanauk and the like, and south morris etc.

For you guys up north there, I don't know if there's a whole bunch from this site up there, but I know of another site that has mostly Chicago area riders and outlying areas. If there is anyone from the southern part of the state, I live in Bethalto and would like to find some more people to meet up with. Road with vtx mike couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it, we had a good ride up the river road to Grafton. Too bad its almost under water now.

Also looking for folks to ride with in the SOuthern Part of the State. I'm across the "creek" in Missouri, like riding the countryside from McClure up through Alto Pass, Bald Knob, Olive Branch, Thebes, Carbondale, etc.

I'm way up north by Fox Lake, IL. I'm new to the board & riding and I just got my first VTX. It would be nice to have other VTX'ers to ride with. Hey J Neu or Paprboy, I don't see why we couldn't meet up! Do you ever get out to Richmond, IL or cross over into WI to ride on those country back roads? I like getting lost up there.

I was just in your neck of the woods last night. Man is there the water and BUGS up there. Thank God for windshields and face shields.
