I meet several VTX riders.
Most belong to VTXOA. Illinois Chapter.

I agree with Vixen, Doyles is a click and if you are not an original WIVO member, or female you get treated like a step child. ( this is not only my oppion, I hear it from many riders)

Hey Central Ill riders, FYI= Sports city cycles in Jacksonville Il is having an open house this weekend, 4-25-09, from 8am-1pm with a blessing of the bikes @noon. Be there, and meet other riders from the area!! The wife & me are going, maybe after take a cruise down to Alton to Fast Eddies or maybe cruise river road to Grafton.

I went to a couple TWT a couple years ago and I agree with you. Except that these people seem to be a small group whose "attitude" seems to overshadow the rest. I've stopped going. But I also have to say that there are some great guys there too.

Anyone go to that swap meet or whatever it was at the McHenry County Fairgrounds last weekend? Wife and I went in that slop. Even on a nice day, not sure I would go back again.

New to forum

My brother and I both live in Carrollton and both own VTX's. His is a 2005 1300R mine is a 2009 1300C. We like to ride every chance we get, so if ppl are getting together count us in. Saturday we are heading to Grafton for a Blessing of the bikes, hope to see you all there.

We are in Crystal Lake, and are interested in a short evening ride while the weather is nice out.

Typical Spots: Banditos in Dundee
Firebar Crystal Lake, Hooters Schaumburg, Broken Oar, Keifs Reef, etc.

My friend Denise is a 3 1/2 year survivor and loves bikes. The other members of my team, Wendy (Bad Monkey Owner), Kath and I are all riders and would love to see some fellow biker support at our event. Havent been down that way yet on the bike but have been through many times in the cage. Met VTXILLINI "chuck and his wife too. Just east of springfield myself in decatur....always looking for someone to ride with and new roads to travel.
