Hey everyone! I hope all is well! Only my vtx 1300 I have Vance & Hines Big shots exhaust system and a Cobra Spoke Air Intake System. What stage jets should I use for my carb?

Use ONLY a Factory Pro jet kit. They can be labeled as stage 1 or stage 3 but they have the same contents. Do NOT use any jets or jet kit from Dynojet. The Dynojet kits do not work nearly as well in a VTX as the FP jet kit. Consider doing the pair valve mod using dimpled blockoff plates prior to rejetting. When rejetting, follow the instructions found here on the VTX Cafe in a thread titled something like, "Carb, what effect what".

No!!! The absolute last thing you should do is the rejet/tune. All of the other changes may have an effect ranging from small to large on the optimum jetting so you want to make all your other changes first and then rejet. The "other changes" include any of the following that you plan to do: new or modified pipes, airbox, air filter, Glen's permanent A/F screw, and pair valve.

Yes, installation of the dimpled block off plates is part of the pair mod. This mod also involved removal of the pair valve and some associated tubing.

Then, make any other changes and buy and install Glen's permanent A/F screw. After you do these things, you rejet following the aforementioned guide to tuning using a Factory Pro jet kit.

What vinish said do the pair valve mod first then the jet basically like he said it could be a big tune versus lil could throw it outta wack so just better to do it all at once. the mod also stops the back firing u could get to so why not. Also Glenn's perm a/f screw life saver for on the fly if u need it or not. Don't know if this helps but good luck ✌
