Going out tomorrow to buy new highway bars for my 06 1300R. Old ones scraped way to easy and felt very uncomfortable having them on. No idea what brand they are because they were on the bike when i purchased it and there are no markings on them. I know on this site that the cobra fatties seem to be the bar of choice, but i have my apprehensions. i have a Show Chrome radiator cover (the one with the "V") installed and i dont want to remove it. Will the Cobra bar fit. It also certainly looks like the horn will have to be re-located. Am i correct? I have the NC Paladins and have no complaints. I love the look of the Fatties but the thought of scraping a highway bar scares the hell out of me.

I'm a big fan of my Kury Euros. Great looks, and great riding position on the footrests. Can't compare them to anything else, but I like them.

These are the bars I have on my 1300C. Haven't scraped them once. I corner hard and scrape pegs all the time, the bars still have plenty of clearance.

I have an 06R with fatties. I have scraped my floorboards but never the fatties. The floorboards is a far enough lean for me.

Thats what i have on my bike.Cant tell by this picture,but they are on.The thingie that you put your foot on opens up,giving a additional 6'' of leg stretch.Click on picture!

I have the Cobra Freeway (not the Fatty) bar, along with a Show Chrome Scoop Cowl Radiator Grille...both fit and I did not have to move the horn. (After I installed an aftermarket horn, I did have to move that some just to keep it from marring my fender.)

The Cobra Freeway bar has never scrapped, but my floorboards have...mind you I am not an aggressive driver.

I just bought the MC Enterprises bars from Mondorah and I haven't scraped them yet, not that I probably couldn't or won't. LOL
