I'm going to get a Mustang seat for my VTX 1300 Retro which one is better?
The Vintage Sport version or the Vintage Wide version?:choppersm

Actually go to events in your area and see if you can try different seats out. Find the one you like best and buy it. What is good for me may not be for you. Don't settle for looks alone it's hard to tell what a seat looks like going down the road but you can sure feel them.

I tried several and the first time I sat on an Ultimate I bought it.

Why buy a seat at all? Get the seat you have modded by www.meancitycycles.com and you'll save a few hundred dollars that can be used for something else. I recommend the memory foam mod.

+1 Shutterbug. Get it modded at meancitycycles.com. Allen does a fantastic job. A new seat is not even on the bottom of my list any longer. Ask anyone whos had it done. It's awesome.

I would have gone w/ MCC, but since my C has the narrow rear seat section, I went w/ the Mustang for when either of my bosses (wife or daughter) want to go for a ride!

I got the sport for my c model, only one available for my bike. It makes me sit forward a lot more than the stock seat. Took some getting used to but I love it now and my wife couldn't be happier. Just need some pegs one the crash bars so my legs can stretch out now.

i went with the untimate x it forms around the tank and looks much better than stck not to mention i can now ride all day without a break if only my buddies could
