White Diamond Metal Polish and Sealant

I used the White Diamond Metal Polish and Sealant to clean up my polished aluminum wheels. While I cannot speak to the sealant portion of it I can tell you that this is the best product I have used so far. Mothers mini powerball and this stuff worked wonders. Proof is in the pudding:

Before:

After a few passes by hand: (I did more later with the mini powerball but didn't get pics)

Those fine scratches were there prior to the use of the polish. This stuff is awesome as a cleaner/polisher. Time will tell on the sealing properties. It works so well and is easy enough to use that I wouldn't have a problem doing this again in a few months.

Just thought I would pass the info/proof along for anyone that may be looking at this product. Works great on chrome as well. :choppersm

Wow.. The proof is DEF there!

You said you did more later with the mini ball, what did you use to get those results?
Wow, that is a huge difference! Looks like I'll be looking to purchase some of that polish to do my wheels. Thanks for posting this info.:patriot:

I did that by hand. Took a while as you can probably tell by seeing the before pic, they were NASTY.

For the powerball I put the polish on with a cloth and spread it out. Then hit it with the power ball on high speed until the polish pretty much disappeared.

Now that I know what to use and how to use it those wheels will not get that nasty again. I tried a lot of stuff and to me this was by far the best.

You can get it online and at most Advance Auto shops. I think I paid about 14 or 15 for a bottle. Went over those wheels multiple times and still have about 1/4 of it left.
I can vouch for it as well. Just some basic hand rubbing does wonders for cleaning up a nasty wheel.
I had tried Maguires Hot Rims and Mothers with the powerball. White Diamond blows them both away, no contest. I'ts all I've ever used and I get asked all the time if I have sanded/polished my wheels. Never sanded, just hand polish ( and it's real easy ) a couple time a year. Here's a close up of my rear wheel and it's 4 years old.

My My ,ok off I go to the parts store to see if they have any. I have used Mothers but yours look like chrome.
I just picked it up at Advanced Auto Parts. I called and they said they didn't carry it any longer, but I went there and found it no problem.
Wow, that is ridicules. I gonna get me some of that. Thanks for the info.
dang its like night and day! I wonder if it will work on spokes?

Cool. Thanks. I've got a couple of those in the area. I'll check it out.
Hmmm, I have always been a Flitz guy, but I embrace change. Thanks for the share.
I wonder if it will work on chrome. I was given a used set of factory exhaust and want to experiment with getting a little louder sound out of my pipes. The only thing is these aren't exactly "clean". I will try it to see what happens. :)

I also called my parts store here in town he says he has 9 bottles. at 12.99 if you cant find any let me know and I would gladly send some out.
I polished my wheels this weekend with Mother's because AutoZone didn't have White Diamond but when I found it I bought it. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Fresh polish with Mother's on one side and White Diamond on the other and there is a HUGE difference. Sorry for no pics.
Thanks you all just cost me 43.00:icon_lol: :D:D :icon_joy: Used mothers on mine a month ago. After seeing your pics it was off off to the parts store.

Headed to the garage right after I post this. :choppersm
None anywhere around here. No one has even heard of it. That means I have to order it! No polishing this weekend for me....

Yes, it can be used on chrome.
Mine shine did not get quite as good as shown but I think i'm going to have to hit it with the 2000 grit sand paper. :hmm2:
IDK... I like my results.
