I just got a 2002 VTX-1800S with a SuperTrap exhaust system. It sounds fine as long as I am in the throttle but when I release the throttle it sounds like a Dump truck. I have a few questions.

- Any easy fixes to stop the Dump Truck noise?

- I like the 2005 stock twin exhaust, and it looks like it would fit.
- Will the 2005 stock exhaust fit my 2002 vtx1800S.

Sorry my VTX is a 1800C not an S. The exhaust I am looking at would be froma 2005 VTX 1800N .

Would the exhaust from a 2005 VTX-1800N fit my 2002 VTX-1800C?

Can't say for sure but from the looks of the OEM parts listing the answer is No.

Take Mr. Bill's advice and call up the guys at:

The N model is based off a retro.
you will need the Y bracket and may need to address the heat shield clamps. yes it can be done, there may be some areas that need to be addressed for clearance in a area or 2.
If your looking for a bolt on swap then the answer is no.
