Got a '06 1300S and I'm sure its the steering bearing from everything that I've been reading. My main source of confusion is, i have 8" apes that i got from tj brutal customs, installed them with at first stock risers, then switched to 1" risers and at any and all speeds I get a crazy death wobble, not just shimmy and shake..at the advice of a shop i swapped back to completely stock and wobble is still there but only on deceleration around 40-50mph which makes me think steering bearings..

Has anyone else had this death wobble with aftermarket apes or what? any thoughts on this would are welcome.

Also rear shock bushings replaced, tire pressure is bout 40 front and rear.

Sounds like the steering bearings need replaced. Start there. Replace them, put your apes back on, and see what happens to the wobble/shimmy.
