I think some people are plain delusional....... It'd be a good extra bike, if it wasn't so unreasonably priced.. I'm thinking of picking up a 1800.. Just thinking..

Yeah around $4000 seems to be going price on both 1300 and 1800 around here with the 1300 usually having more accessories.

Of course a dealership will charge more than an individual because they've changed fluids and performed servicework necessary to sell the bike 'ready to ride'. Buying from an individual is most always cheaper. BUT, in this case I have to support the advertising dealer - because it's Motorsports of Dayton, which is the Victory dealership my employer owns!

I am the IT Support Coordinator at the corporate level and as such I am routinely in touch with the stores... I know several of the guys at MSOD.

It's a small world...

I don't know what they actually sell for, but up here in Alaska (where everything but the fresh air is more expensive) 1800's typically list for between $5k and $6k from the owners. Dealers list for a bit more.

I'd probably piss him off if I offered him what I thought it was really worth.. I did go look at the second one.. I'm impressed with it.. {Pondering}...

I've got my bigger with a fairing.. I want to get a stripped down bike so I can feel my hair in the wind.. I'm a big fan of the look of the "Fenderless" version.. I want one I can ship when I go out of town to putt around on...

I noticed in the picture of the 1800 (for $9000) the the side covers under the seat were chrome colour. I thought only 1300's had the chrome panels and 1800's were painted.

After market covers. I have a set. I think someone like Big Bike Parts, or Bike Bandit, or ? sell them. FYI, the black ones my C came with, were wrinkled from heat from the pipes, as black absorbs heat and light better than the other end of the spectrum, and my chromes are holding up really well due to their reflectivity.
