I just picked up a 2005 VTX 1300c with 6200miles. I know the recommended service for the final drive oil change is not for a while mileage wise. I am wondering if it would be a good idea to change it just based on the age of the oil that has never been changed. Thanks for the help!

Welcome from Charlotte, NC, home of a dude who changes his final drive oil every time he changes his engine oil because it's cheap and easy, like him. :)

JB weld the broken part back on? Use it to turn out the bad piece. Really need a pic to say for sure. Pick up a new torque wrench while you're out.

Back in the day, using a stubby 3/8 drive ratchet, with a 10 mm deep socket, my wrist would pop at exactly 9ftlb... Too many skating and BMX crashes.
That's not the reason Spoiler gave... :icon_chee (i KEED, i KEED!)
