trailer hitches

I know there were hitches made for vtx 1800r, but doubt any now made. does any one have plans, or even pictures i could use to design and build one?

I built my own custom hitch for my 1800N. It is strong and easily tows my Bushtec. I fabricated a bracket that tied into my exhaust bracket and Into both sides of my frame in front of the wheel. I also ended up with a good mount for my Rostra Cruise Control. I have pictures of it powder coated and the bike cleaned up that I can add later if you're interested. I can unpin the receiver and you can't tell that it has a hitch. I didn't want anything under the fender because my next tire will be Darkside and this design solved a number of issues for me.

can you add more info on your cruise control. i didnt think you could add electric control on this bike, woymuld be very interested

Hello all,

well I got lazy. I found a hitch by US Hitch, for 1300r and 1800r for $439. Figured by time i built one, with time and all, this was best bet. Its crome with removable ball. Contacted them and they had them in stock, so no wait time. will post again after i get it, mount it and use it.
