The bottom of the trailer would wear out after only a few miles wouldn't it? Wait a minute, he only has the trailer on in the sig pic, it's not on the lift with the bike silly!

Folks, Understand that RichardV insists on calling bikes with a Voyager type kit that adds two extra rear wheels while retaining the original drive wheel a "trailer". This is causing lots of confusion in this and other threads as people reading it think he is talking about the type of trailer such as the low cost Harbor Freight one with a car top carrier attached to it.

my old school WORLD.. the 2 extra wheels are called "out-riggers".. mounted to the sides of the motorcycle.. like saddlebags. :)

trailer not included.

Training Wheels with a suspension :)
If ever get my hips replaced, maybe I could take the Training Wheels off :glee:

I had heard them called "outriggers" or "training wheels" as well but then saw the tiny little wheels that one of our members from the Columbus area has on his bike (can't remember who it is but might be tonyvideo). His wheels are about 4" in diameter, mounted sort of under the bike and go up and down at the press of a button to provide stability when stopped. So now I don't know what to call the extra wheels of small or large size.

Yes, the powered wheel arms... for early goldwings.. I installed a set for a customer... up/down switch... but both wheels did not make contact to road at same time.
if memory is right. also could get the electric reverse... motor with little wheel made contact with rear tire. did not work well when wet. mounted under swing arm.
