So I ride with a bunch of guys and many of them have Harley's and give me crap for riding my Honda which I am proud of. I thought of this come back while I was polishing her in the garage. Change the subject on them then ask them this......

Have you ever dated a girl that is just smokin hot and had a really seductive voice?

Hopefully they will say yes, even if they haven't there pride will probably prevent them from saying no. :bleh:

Then tell them this... yeah at first everything goes great and then you begin to realize that they're kinda shallow, not that relaible, you can't count on them and they always want money from you and after a while you decide it's not worth it and you find a girl that is still hot as hell, has a nice voice, but without all the bling, expense, and problems. It's kinds like movin from a Harley to a Honda.

Can't wait to use it, I am a genius this should leave them speachless

I rode my VTX to the Springfield Mile today with 8 Harleys. One of the younger guys started some Honda crap. I just told him those other guys looking at his bike were really looking for the chick who rode it.

We had a good time of it..Was some good ribbing fun. Then we all went to a Harley bar where my VTX was the only Honda there all afternoon..Of course I parked right out the front door of the place. Got to say, never really had any problems with anyone..

You can always tell the Harley guys they are individuals just like all the other Harley guys wearing the same shirt and boots they are. Three of these guys had on the same boots.. I gave them crap about that too.

I live here in Springfield where the "Mile" takes place, and have to say, when it comes to bikes, nobody has any "crap" to say about another's ride, we all share the same wind. I've seen cruisers riding with sport bikes, "Wings" hanging out with H-D riders and so on, no bullshit about who rides what. I'ts all good brothers!!

There is no answer as the best method of getting rid of trolls is ignoring them.

If still persistent, a kick to the groin, elbow to the side of the head and a nice stomp with both feet into the face will provide 100% silence.

I do like that analogy..

All the Harley guys around here love my bike. Ive yet to find someone who Doesn't like it. But, if the harley/honda thing comes up, all I ever do is tell them how much mine was and point out that I could buy 3 of mine or one of theirs..

That usually shuts them up pretty quick. If it don't, I ask them if they have ever seen a Harley with 150k miles on it without ever being rebuilt... :)

Actually never had anyone approach me, I ride with a mixed race of bikes, Honda's, Harley's, Crotch rockets.

The one and only comment I've gotten from a harley rider was a twit that has a '06 or so with about 3000 miles parked in his garage. He has it for the image, in his case lips stick on a pigs ass is still a pigs ass, not be cause he talks smack but because he was born that way.

I've still been lucky, not a one person I've ever ridden with has given me any grief about my ride. Mostly they are all Harley people because I normally ride with my father in law and his biker group, they are all they most respectful guys and love sharing the road with them. I compliment theirs and they compliment me.

They probably just know that I paid a 1/3 of what they did already! haha

I ride with all Harley guys, and none have ever started that talk with me. We all just like to ride, and they ask me questions all the time about the add ons and changes I've done to mine, and I ask them about their bikes. Never had any issues at the multiple ride ins and shows we've gone to either. No debate, just ride what you like!

The HD guys that I have ridden with give me sheet about mine or did the first 20k miles, only because I had to work on it all the time. They had over 30k on theirs and have never had to work on them. Except routine maintenance. they also changed the pipes an such.
Even the wife said I should have got the Hd, if I would have know that I was going to have to work on it all the time.

One of my friends asked my why I didn't get an U/C like his. I said "so I wouldn't have a bike like yours". Another HD rider asked me yesterday "what kind of bike is that? I've never seen one like that before." I replied. "EXACTLY".

Seems like every swinging duck around here has a Harley. I like being different (and saving money).

I had a Harley guy tell "That bike will get your knees in the breeze but a harley will get you laid"....I just told him I didnt need a bike to get laid..course he only had three teeth:eek:
